Where it all began
Since 2020, Partner Meetup has been organizing social events for ecommerce tech and agency partners in the Toronto and Ottawa areas.
It all began with a simple idea: put the right people in the same room and see what happens. A fun space to chill, hang out, and get to know colleagues in the industry.
Years later, that idea still holds. The faces change, the venues change, but the reason people come back stays the same.
Partner Meetup is run by a small team with deep roots in the ecommerce world
JAMIL BHUYA
Jamil’s background spans founding and scaling consumer brands, running a Shopify-focused agency, and advising growing ecommerce teams. Having been on both sides of the table, he’s comfortable in the details and the bigger picture.
LISA ST. PIERRE
Lisa has built her career around partnerships and client experience across ecommerce and SaaS. She’s focused on long-term relationships, clear communication, and helping teams work better together across different roles and teams.
MATT HABIB
Matt has worked across ops, growth, and partnerships, supporting ecommerce brands as they scale day to day. His experience sits at the intersection of strategy and execution, with a focus on building relationships that move things forward.
SAM BEQAJ
Sam’s background spans early-stage growth, partnerships, and go-to-market work across SaaS and ecommerce. He’s spent his career building relationships from the ground up and helping teams turn momentum into something sustainable.
Heard around the room
“Chatted about work that never makes it to the final version. The ideas you fight for, the ones you let go of, and living with the tradeoffs. SO healing!”
Angel, Designer
“Ended up staying way later than I planned! It felt like one of the easiest rooms to walk into and I was sad to leave by the end. See you next time!”
Sam, Operator
“This one’s become a regular
stop for me. I always get excited
when a new event pops up!
I love staying connected to what
other teams are working on
without it feeling like work.”
Max, Partner
“I was stuck on a problem for days. Met someone at the meetup who’d already hit the same wall. We got to talk it through it together and it finally clicked for me.”
